dc.abstract.enThis article looks atarts-based research ( ABR) as an alternative research paradigm. The context is contemporary problems of the humanities with its main medium - the text. The background to the consideration of the ABR is primarily to think about the text and the contemporary humanities in terms of the laboratory, both as a metaphor for textuality, “working with the text”, and as a model for working in a research team. In the final section, after summarising the main tenets of art-based research, two interpretations of works meeting the ABR criteria are proposed: Worldview by Emma Kay and Smog Poem by Leszek Onak.
dc.abstract.plNiniejszy artykuł traktuje o badaniach opartych na sztuce (arts based research, ABR) jako alternatywnym paradygmacie badawczym. Kontekstem są współczesne problemy humanistyki z jej głównym medium – tekstem. Tłem dla rozważań nad ABR jest przede wszystkim myślenie o tekście oraz współczesnej humanistyce w kategoriach laboratorium, zarówno jako metaforze tekstualności, „pracy tekstem”, jak i modelu pracy w zespole badawczym. W końcowej części, po streszczeniu głównych założeń badań opartych na sztuce, proponuje się dwie interpretacje dzieł spełniających kryteria ABR: Worldview Emmy Kay i Wiersza smogowego Leszka Onaka.
