About the Graphic Collections Catalogue

The core purpose of the Graphic Collection Catalog is to provide access to the iconographic art collections housed in the Main Library of the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow, making them accessible to a broad audience. The catalogue contains data on the Main Library's graphic arts collections held in the Poster Cabinet and the Prints Cabinet. The Graphic Collections Catalog allows users to search bibliographic descriptions along with reproductions of a wide range of graphic collections, including posters, prints, drawings, ex-librises, photographs, covers, postcards, art books, and social life documents, among others. Currently, the Graphic Collections Catalogue houses approximately 40,000 diverse art objects, and ongoing efforts are made to systematically expand the collection with the goal of cataloging the entire book collection.
