Abstract

This article looks at selected projects of cultural institutions organised in response to the social protests of the Women’s Strike that were held in October 2020. The author sees these collection actions and exhibition projects as practices alternative to the traditional model of institutions. It describes the loosening of restrictions concerning institutions carried out in collaboration with audiences in three areas: the engagement/usefulness paradigm, collecting contemporaneity and working with conflict.
